These items are used to manage your island’s sorting systems. This includes the Item Filter, Hopper, and Chunk Hopper. Read below to learn how to craft and use these items efficiently.
The Item Filter is a single-tier machine used to automatically sort items throughout your system. It has four configurable inputs, one on each side. You can assign specific items to each input, then connect a hopper or chest to collect the sorted output.

● Place items to be sorted in a chest or hopper above the Item Filter
● The filter will pull items down and sort them based on your configuration
● Sorted items are sent to your connected output (hopper/chest)

Any items that are not configured in the filter will be treated as overflow. To collect these:
● Place a hopper or chest below the Item Filter This will catch all unsorted items
Tip: Set up multiple filters in a chain to create a fully automated storage system.

Advanced Hoppers are upgraded hoppers designed to transfer items faster than standard hoppers.
They come in Tier 1–6, with each tier significantly increasing the transfer speed, making it easier to manage large amounts of items efficiently.
As you progress through the tiers, hoppers become much more powerful and are essential for keeping up with high-output systems.

To craft higher-tier hoppers, you will need:
Specific custom parts Four of the previous tier hopper
Each upgrade builds on the last, allowing you to scale your system as your island grows.

Chunk hoppers are made to collect any items that are broken inside of a specific chunk. For Java players, if you do F3 + 3 or Bedrock and Java /chunks you can view the specific chunks that the hopper would be collecting from. Whatever chunk it is placed inside of, it will be collecting any item inside of it. In /island setting you can change the item that each chunk hopper can and will pick up.

Chunk Hoppers automatically collect any items dropped within a specific chunk. A chunk is a section of your island. You can view chunk borders using:
● Java Edition: Press F3 + G
● Bedrock/Java: Use /chunks (if available)

The Chunk Hopper will collect all dropped items within the chunk it is placed in, no matter where they are located inside that chunk. You can customize what items a Chunk Hopper collects through /island settings, allowing you to filter specific items.
Tips: ● Place Chunk Hoppers in high-activity areas for maximum efficiency
● Use multiple hoppers to cover different chunks
● Combine with Item Filters for advanced sorting systems
