The Island Leaderboard is a competition for competitive islands based on how much island value they gain. It uses short weekly races to award points, monthly standings to award gift cards, and season-long standings to award the largest prizes and exclusive chat tags.
Use /island top or /istop in game to open the leaderboard.
Summary: grow your island value during each week, finish in the weekly top five to earn points, and collect as many points as possible before the monthly and seasonal standings close.
Who can compete?
Only islands created as Competitive are eligible. Casual islands can still gain island value, but they never appear in the competitive leaderboard or earn leaderboard points. A competitive island can permanently switch to Casual, but a Casual island cannot switch to Competitive.
All participating islands must follow the Global Rules and Skyblock Rules. Boosting or otherwise gaining an unfair advantage can result in disqualification.
What is being ranked?
The weekly leaderboard ranks islands by net island value gained during the current week, not by their all-time island value. An established island and a newer island therefore compete on the progress they make during the same period.
The value an island has at the beginning of a week acts as its starting point. Only growth above that starting point counts toward the weekly leaderboard.
Weekly competition and points
During a week, the in-game menu shows the islands with the largest value gain. Placements remain live until the reset, so an island can move up or down as competitors gain value. The points shown as “points to be earned” are a preview of what the island will receive if it keeps that position through the end of the week.

When the weekly reset happens, those placements become final and the points are added to both the island's monthly and season totals. A new weekly value-gain race then begins from zero. A weekly reset does not remove points already earned during the month or season.
A normal leaderboard week follows a Sunday-through-Saturday schedule. The countdown above shows the exact reset date and time using your local settings. Month boundaries take priority:
- If a new month starts in the middle of a week, the previous month's final week ends and a new week starts immediately for the new month. That opening week still ends after Saturday.
- If a month ends before Saturday, the current week ends early with the month so its final points can be included in that month's results.
Monthly competition and reset
Monthly standings add together every weekly point earned during that calendar month. Weekly points do not carry into the next month. If islands finish with the same number of monthly points, their total eligible value gain for the month is used as the tiebreaker.
When the next leaderboard month begins, the final weekly period is closed, the monthly winners are locked in, and every island's monthly points return to zero. This is the monthly reset. Weekly history and season points are not erased.

Season standings
Season points keep accumulating after monthly resets. Every point awarded from a finalized weekly leaderboard counts toward the island's season total. The season leaderboard therefore rewards islands that perform consistently across many weeks and months, rather than only during one strong month.
If islands have the same number of season points, their eligible value gain across the season is used as the tiebreaker. At the end of the Skyblock season, the top five islands receive the configured seasonal rewards. Season points reset only when a new Skyblock season begins.
Claiming rewards
Leaderboard rewards are claimed by opening a ticket in the Static Discord after the results are finalized. The claimant must be the owner the winning island, and their Minecraft account must be linked to the their Discord account. Store gift cards are issued to the island owner, who may distribute the value among island members.
