Power items are used to power other machines around your island. These machines include: Cable, Power Switches, Power Generators and Wireless Transmitters. Below are descriptions for each individual item in the power tab. Learn what each item does and how to use them effectively.
Power Cables are used to connect generators and wireless transmitters to machines around your island.
When looking at a cable, it displays how much power is being used compared to how much is being generated.
Once properly connected, the cables will turn into a version with red lines to indicate they are active.

Power switches are used to direct power to specific outputs. Choose the input for the power and send it the direction that you desire. All it takes is a lever and a working generator. Switches are crafted by using the workbench in the power section.

Power Generators require a special resource called Essence. Essence has a chance to drop when killing mobs in the
/warzone.
Generators come in Tier 1–5, with each tier requiring more Essence to operate. In return, higher tiers produce more
power. Tier 1 generates the least, while Tier 5 generates the most.

To unlock higher-tier generators, you must craft them in the Workbench. Each tier (except Tier 1) requires the previous generator along with additional resources. The power produced by generators determines whether your machines and robots can run. No Essence = No Power → No Power = No Machines Running.

You can increase the number of generators on your island through /island upgrades. Each upgrade adds an additional generator slot, allowing you to place more generators over time. Generators do not need to be connected to a single cable or placed in one area. They can be spread around your island, as long as they are properly connected to machines and supplied with Essence.

Wireless Transmitters do not require Essence, but they must be powered by a Generator to function. They can be placed
either upside down or right-side up, depending on your preferred setup.
Transmitters come in Tier 1–5, with each tier increasing the radius in which they can power nearby items. They are
primarily used to power spawners and minions. Instead of being limited by spawner type, you are limited by total power
capacity.
Each spawner requires a certain amount of power. If your total production is lower than your demand, only part of your
setup will function. For example, if your spawners require 1,000 power but you are only generating 500 power, only 500
worth of spawners will be powered.
Power Transmitters are also used to power any robots that are within the radius. Robots must be powered and can only be
powered through the transmitter.

Higher-tier transmitters can be unlocked through the Workbench. Each tier (except Tier 1) requires the previous
transmitter along with additional crafting materials.
