Static Skyblock Season 3

Author: Sam (Founder of Static Studios)

Launching September 4, 2026 at 3 PM Eastern (EDT)

Static Skyblock Season 3 is built around a simple ambition: start with a small island and turn it into something that can compete with the best on the server. Build farms, power machines, put robots to work, and decide how much of your production to reinvest into your island or commit to the leaderboard race.

This season introduces brand-new island leaderboards, with weekly competitions feeding into monthly prizes and season standings. Whether you're bringing a team or creating your first island, here's what you'll be working toward.

Build an island that works for you

Automation is a huge part of Season 3. Your island can become a connected system of resource gathering, crafting, storage, and value production, with plenty of room to improve the layout as you grow.

Power, water, and a reason to plan ahead

Start with the Workbench, available in /shop, to browse recipes for machines, parts, and upgrades. The Workbench is the primary entry point for automation. Everything you need to build out your island can be crafted there.

Power Generators burn Essence to run your machines. Connect machines with cables, and use Wireless Transmitters to power nearby robots and spawners, and expand your supply as you add equipment. Water Pumps feed pipes and sprinklers, which use both water and power to help crops and saplings grow faster. Redstone-controlled switches let you turn individual network branches on and off.

The challenge is making everything work together. More machines need more capacity, and faster farms need somewhere for all that output to go. You can inspect your cable and pipe networks in game to see how much they're using.

The wiki has guides to the Workbench, power, and water systems to help with your first setup.### Put robots to work

Five robot types cover Farming, Mining, Logging, Fishing, and Slaying. Set them up around the resources you want to produce, supply wireless power, and link them to chests to collect their output.

Robots have five tiers and upgrade slots, giving you ways to specialize each setup. Expand a farming robot's range, add Fortune to a mining robot, or improve a fishing robot's luck. Those upgrades also increase power demand, so your generator network needs to grow with your workforce.

Robots handle resource production while you tackle your own goals. Your personal skill XP and island activity tasks still come from playing; robot work does not complete those for you.### Keep the production line moving

Auto Crafters turn supplied ingredients into a selected recipe's output. Combine them with Item Filters, Item Splitters, and faster tiered Hoppers to sort resources, divide supplies between machines, and move finished items into storage. Powered Chunk Hoppers collect eligible dropped items within their own chunk.

That makes the layout part of the game. A productive farm is only the beginning: collecting, routing, and processing its output gives you another set of problems to solve. Start small, then improve whichever part is slowing you down. The item management guide explains the building blocks.

Turn production into island value

The Island Value Sink consumes items that can be sold in the shop and converts a portion of their sell value into island value. You give up the items instead of receiving money. Powered Value Enhancers can increase their value before they reach the sink, making a well-built processing route especially useful for a competitive island.

That creates a decision throughout the season: sell resources to fund your next upgrade, save ingredients for more machinery, or feed them into island value to push your weekly score. Make sure enhanced items have a complete route to the sink, because you cannot pick them back up after processing.

A new race every week. A title to chase all season.

Island Leaderboards are completely new this season. Open /island top or /istop to follow the competition.

The weekly race measures net island value gained during that week. Each week's starting value becomes the baseline, so the score is about what your island produces during that period. At the end of the week, the top five islands earn points:

Weekly finishPoints
1st5
2nd4
3rd3
4th2
5th1

Positions stay live until the reset. The points shown during the race are a preview; you need to hold that placement when the week closes to earn them. Then a fresh weekly value-gain race begins, and your earned points stay on the monthly and season boards.

Monthly standings add up that month's weekly points. The top three islands earn Static store gift cards, with monthly points starting over for the next month. Season standings keep every weekly point across those monthly resets, rewarding teams that keep performing throughout Season 3. Eligible value gained during the month or season breaks ties in that period's points.

The seasonal top three earn store gift cards, and members of the top five islands earn exclusive Season 3 placement chat tags. Check the monthly and seasonal rewards page for the prize amounts and how island owners claim them.

Weeks normally run Sunday through Saturday, with shorter weeks at month boundaries. The leaderboard guide has the full schedule and reset countdown.

Choose Competitive when creating your island if you want to enter. Casual islands have easier progression and can use the island-building systems, but do not enter the leaderboard or earn its rewards. A Competitive island can switch permanently to Casual; a Casual island cannot switch to Competitive. Competing islands must follow the Skyblock rules.

Grow your island, and your own skills

Your island has a shared 50-level progression track. Work together on farming, generator mining, logging, fishing, and Warzone tasks, with island-value and money requirements at milestones. Higher levels unlock the ability to purchase upgrades through /island upgrades, including room for more robots, generators, spawners, and members. Use /island level to see the next target and coordinate what your team tackles first.

Your own progress matters too. Farming, Mining, Logging, Fishing, and Grinding skills have rewards to claim and prestige goals to pursue. Custom enchantments help shape your tools and combat gear, while pets support their matching activities with skill boosts and abilities. Hourly, daily, and weekly challenges give you shorter goals between the big island projects.

Take the competition into the Warzone

The Warzone connects combat back to your island: its enemies can drop Essence, the fuel your generators need. Choose Casual for PvE with inventory kept on death, or enter Competitive for PvP and stronger loot chances, where dying puts your carried items at risk.

Competitive Warzone also hosts King of the Hill, Supply Drops, and an Outpost that islands can capture for shop-selling and XP bonuses. If your team enjoys fighting as much as building, there are objectives worth organizing around beyond the production line.
